About

Countries in ASEAN have experimented with carbon markets. The voluntary carbon market in the region is still in its early stages, but it holds significant promise. However, there are challenges to be addressed, such as the need for more robust regulatory frameworks and greater transparency in the market.

This webinar is a practice-sharing platform under Indonesia’s ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) chairmanship, which is a legacy of the B20 Indonesia Carbon Center of Excellence (CCoE) in 2022. This webinar will be held on Wednesday, 31 May 2023.

The Speakers
Arsjad Rasjid
Chairman, ASEAN-BAC
Dharsono Hartono
ASEAN Carbon Center of Excellence Lead, ASEAN-BAC
Andrea Bonzanni
International Policy Director, International Emission Trading Association (IETA)
Layla Khanfar
Corporate Sustainability & Carbon Offsets Analyst, Bloomberg NEF
